August 6th Hard Chargers…

Brothers Leevi and Landon Runge not only finished 1st and 2nd in the High Energy Performance IMCA Hobby Stock feature on August 6th, they also tied for the Hard Charger award. Landon would win the race from the 10th spot, and Leevi claimed 2nd place from 11th. The brothers will split the $50 hard charge award courtesy of Rocky’s Race Engines. Pictured Landon Runge. 

Jeremy Swanson would follow Landon Runge’s lead. He would not only claim the victory in the IMCA Stock Car division, but also claim the Hard Charger award courtesy of Rocky’s Race Engines. Jeremy earned himself a crisp $50 bill for his effort which seen him move to the 1st position from 6th row outside.

“Mad” Mike Hagen was looking sharp, on and off the track in his brand new ride. He would earn himself the $50 Hard Charger award on August 6th, courtesy of Rocky’s Race Engines. Mike would start 7th row inside and wind up finishing 4th in the Kendall’s Supply IMCA Modified feature.


Mike Balcaen had himself a roller coaster ride for the Fast 40 Wissota Late Model special event. After failing to make weight after a successful heat race, he would have to start at the back of the field in the feature. Throughout the 40 lap main event he would find himself battling for 1st at times, ultimately settling for 3rd on the field. Good enough to earn him the $50 Hard Charger award courtesy of Rocky’s Race Engines.
